Union Digital Center

Union Parishad is the oldest local government organization in the country. It is the grassroots level people's closest government. The Union Digital Center, the information-technology-based center established by Union Parishad, has given new dimensions to the Council. Free information flow is one of the prerequisites for empowerment of the people. With the establishment of the Eunion Digital Center, ordinary citizens are now getting easy, low cost and hassle-free 60 public and private services from UDC. Union Parishad is the oldest local government organization in the country, which has been struggling to make a strong and effective welfare organization. But the change in the local government institution is a matter of a long process and political culture. This is not possible overnight. It is gradually to make changes through the process. At one time people did not use the Union Parishad very much. Union Parishad used to be used only for rural arbitration. The idea of ​​Manish was that, Union Parishad is not open regularly. UDC has changed this idea. Increasing accessibility of people in the Union Parishad 40 million people are receiving different government-owned e-services every month from UDC.
